Halloween At Boreat Manor

There is plenty of room for a Halloween celebration at Boreat Manor and why not join us next year for a family Halloween themed break.  Shut the door on the cold autumn night and gather round the wood burning stove in the large medieval lounge for Halloween games and scary stories.   Boreat Manor has a very long history and its very own book of tales and ghost stories handed down over the generations.   A spooky but fun Halloween was guaranteed here at Boreat starting with a twilight walk in the woods looking for bats, ghouls and witches, story telling by candle light surrounded by the glowing pumpkin lanterns created by the kids in the afternoon.   The Halloween costumes where dug out of storage, faces painted and a prize awarded for the best fancy dress.   Early afternoon was spent making an array of ghoulish treats for the evening party in the farmhouse kitchen.   The night ended with a ‘fright night’ movie with kids hiding behind the cushions.    Halloween can be a fun event especially here at Boreat Manor rekindle memories of your own childhood when you ‘dunked ‘ for apples and made lanterns out of pumpkins.
